Bristol - A cut above the rest

£150.00

A2 Original canvas collage by Andrew

Andrew says : "With Bristol it is so difficult to choose what best portrays the city because so much is crammed in to such a wonderful place. Clifton Suspension Bridge is always a favourite, along with the hot air balloons. SS GREAT BRITAIN sits under the amphitheatre (not really) and ST GEORGE’S is where PRODIGAL ARTS has felt honoured to have exhibited artwork, such a blessing from this beautiful venue. A BANKSY nod is seen with a ‘not so rough’ sleeper in front, and a waterfall leaves the docked SS GT BRITAIN. The M SHED makes an appearance because of its interaction with the local community making BRISTOL – A CUT ABOVE THE REST.

This collage took over 120 hours to complete using newspapers, magazines, tissue paper and even parts of my own drawings! Whatever you see in this artwork is completely your choice but I hope you see something personal to you, maybe a thought or memory you’ve been holding onto.

Thank you.

Andrew."
